With five iTunes hit podcasts under her belt, including Karlosophies and Rock Your Mic Right, and 20+ years working with her voice (as a broadcaster and voice over artist), Karly Nimmo uses her voice and wisdom to guide us back to the truth of who we are so that we can show up and speak up as our fully expressed self.

Felismina Jom

Felismina - or Fliss - is the Digital Account Director at Barefruit Marketing and marketing agency in Ballina. With a background in corporate IT and 14 years running a digital agency with her partner in Sydney. Since moving to Lennox Head, Fliss has worked as a small business advisor covering the broader northern rivers and is passionate about supporting businesses to navigate a constantly changing digital environment.

Emma Kempnich

Committee member

Emma is a friendly, down-to-earth creative professional. She has spent 20 years helping businesses and entrepreneurs with visual brand identity development and graphic design. Emma was born and raised in the Northern Rivers and has called Ballina home since 2016. A single mum to two girls, Emma understands the complexities of being a woman in business and is passionate about supporting other women to discover what works for them in creating a positive work/life balance.

Sonja Ceri

Australian-based CMO Sonja Ceri has a reputation for smashing the glass ceiling and running a company with a name you won’t forget: Four Drunk Parrots. Marketing strategist by day, mother of 2 under 3 at night. Someone with an opinion, a big smile and a determination to use business as a force for good.

With a Masters in economics and a decade of agency experience, Sonja's interests go beyond textbook marketing theory. Sonja calls herself a storyteller, because that’s easier than listing strategist, journalist, digital marketer, entrepreneur, mentor, workshop trainer, keynote speaker and opinionated mover & shaker. Sonja’s passion for the environment and social impact has led to her business through B Corp and Climate Neutral certification as well as being a member of 1% For the Planet.

Karina McKey

Committee member

Karina has a diverse background in consultancy for both not for profits and the private business sector. She has owned Ballina based businesses for the last decade and currently spends most of her time at Karina & Co, a Disability Consultancy.

Roxanna Chan

Committee Member

Creative by nature Roxanna has recently relocated to the Northern Rivers and loves using the creative process to encourage thoughtful living. Currently working as the acting Event Manager for Finders Keepers and is a qualified trainer and workshop facilitator along the East Coast is looking forward to building connection closer to home in Ballina and surrounds through hosting workshops and providing a creative space for others. Roxanna is really excited to learn, lead and mix with other woman in the area, make sure you go up and introduce yourself and say hi!

Brigid Pearse

Committee member

Brigid is owner and teacher at Move to Nurture Pilates in Lennox Head. An early career in dance and theatre in the Northern Rivers has come full circle for Brigid after working in local government planning and community engagement. She is now mum to a six-year-old with a thriving home business helping mid-to-late life women to stay stronger in their bodies for longer.

Amy Colli

SBW Regional Liaison

Amy Colli - Sourdough Business Women Regional Liaison. Amy’s career spans 25 years working extensively across the Northern Rivers in roles supporting and developing the food and tourism industries and giving her a strong understanding of the needs of a wide variety of regional business women. Amy is responsible for supporting business women in the Byron Shire and expanding initiatives into the Ballina, Tweed and Lismore shires.

Meagan Kruger

SBW Administration Support

Born and bred in Brisbane, Meagan made the move to Northern NSW in late 2015 realising her dream to live, work and raise her children in arguably one of the best places in the world.

Meagan’s career history spans 20+ years working in varying capacities in a small
management consultancy firm specialising in project feasibilities and regional economic
development. Most recently Meagan has volunteered her time to assist in the creation of a local business group for the Tweed Coast beach villages of Cabarita, Hastings, Pottsville and Wooyung.

Meagan is excited to be working with the SBP team and assisting in the facilitation of the SBW and mentor program.
