Wed 24 June, 4pm via Zoom

Hear about what’s been happening in the media in 2020, and learn how to craft your story and perfect your pitch to get a journo’s attention.

Join us for an intimate online session with local publicist and PR mentor, Odette Barry of Odette & Co. Odette launched Odette & Co in 2016 and has since worked with influential brands like Women’s Fitness, Mindful in May, Farmer Jo, 2XU, IGA and Barre Body, and runs ‘Hack your own PR’: a program that teaches business owners and comms humans how to kick-off a PR strategy, build and nurture relationships with media contacts, pitch their product or service to secure media coverage and, most importantly, how to leverage that coverage.

In this session, Odette will share her wisdom, experience and insights with you to explore how to pitch your story to media outlets and secure headline coverage. She’ll take you through the basics as well as what’s been happening in the media in 2020, and how to craft your story and perfect your pitch to get a journo’s attention, even in this time of relative headline chaos.
