Screenworks supports and provides leadership for the development of an innovative, vibrant and sustainable regional screen industry (film, television, online, games and apps), with a particular focus on the Northern Rivers region of NSW.

They do this by providing professional development and networking opportunities and services for screen content creators and workers, which are delivered in the region and beyond. They also assist local and non-local productions in the region.

Screenworks approached Sourdough Business Pathways for support when most of their Federal Government funding was removed and they were faced with the need to become more self-sustainable. This represented major change for their organisation and Ken Crouch wisely recognised the need for professional guidance. We appointed a ‘master’ mentor who worked with the Screenworks team to refocus their business and develop a way forward strategy.

We put their team through a series of accelerator sessions to help embed the new culture and operations and prepare for growth. Screenworks are now on a sustainable path and experiencing significant growth. Their master mentor, Peter Bowen, has now joined their board and works within the organisation to support and guide their growth.
