SBW Ballina May Hub: Connection + Resilience

By May 25,2022 May 16th, 2022 No Comments

Sourdough Business Women Ballina Chapter invites you to join us in conversation with Violetta Znorkowski to explore self connection as a tool for resilience in business

Sourdough Business Women Ballina Chapter’s May 2022 hub is focused on Connection as a strategy for business success in uncertain times.

At a time when resilience in business means everything, it’s more important than ever to remain grounded, think on our feet and stay the course, and as we are often the one holding everything together, personal resilience becomes paramount.

During a nourishing night at Harvest, Violet will explore how self connection supports your resilience as a business woman and how it can translate into bigger changes in the world.

In sharing her life experiences, Violet will demonstrate:

    • How to cultivate a connection to self in a world with so many distractions and tasks;
    • The power of presence in your business life.

The event will end with a grounding self connection exercise.

About our speaker:

Violetta Znorkowski, also called Violet, is a first generation American, first woman in her family to graduate from University and someone who is used to the challenges that come with being the only woman in the room and at the table.

Violet is no stranger to doing things differently. She spent nearly 10 years educating and guiding both youth and adults on expeditions around the world about what it means to step outside of your comfort zone, be of service to others and lead with heart.

On these trips you would often find Violet leading groups through the Cambodian jungle, building washrooms and toilets for school children in Thailand, hiking through the Sacred Valley in Peru or Kayaking in Hong Kong. It is on these trips that Violet truly came face to face with the inequalities that still exist around the world, particularly for women and young girls.

Violet’s work and service overseas and her own adverse experience as a female leader in a male dominated industry inspired her to do something about closing the gender gap and helping women create fuller and more purposeful lives and careers. This is the mission behind Expand and Impact, a space for motivated and ambitious women to safely explore their connection to self, others and the world.

Violetta is the Founder, Change Expert and Lead Facilitator whose work is informed by her 10+ years in Experiential Education, Emotional Intelligence Development, Holistic Counselling Psychology and Meditation and Mindfulness. She believes that self-work is the gateway to generational change and that personal development and systemic change go hand in hand.

Expand and Impact is changing the narrative for driven women by gently guiding them in transforming how they work and how they live so they can reach even higher with more energy, joy and inner peace. “It’s time to shake things up, challenge the status quo and close the gender gap from the inside out. We start by transforming ourselves
