Continuing with our series of lunches showcasing inspiring and successful people within our Sourdough Community, join our next March event with our exciting entrepreneurial guest speakers:
Eddie Brook, Co-Founder/Spiritual Advisor, Cape Byron Distillery & Young Entrepreneur of the Year NSW Business Awards 2018 and
Maria Collyer, Northern Rivers Business Adviser Entrepreneurs’ Programme – AusIndustry, & founder of Sweden’s largest juice bar chain Naked Juicebar.
Eddie Brook grew up regenerating rainforest on his family farm in the hinterland of Byron Bay, where the Distillery now lies. From this upbringing, he acquired a passion for native
Australian rainforest fruits and flavours. “The rainforest that my family has regenerated over the past 30 years is the ideal pantry for making great spirits. Like any good dish, a great Gin
should be balanced and it is exciting to showcase these incredible native flavours.” With more than 10 years of experience in the spirit industry and 15 years in the food industry, Eddie has been trained in the art of distillation and mentored by Jim McEwan. Cape Byron Distillery was born in November 2016. Today Eddie is CEO of Cape Byron Distillery, he leads a team comprising Distillation, Warehousing and Production, Sales (Domestic and Export), Marketing, Events, Product Development and a Cellar Door.
